Local Honey

Local Honey is good for you!

The theory goes that local honey helps allergies like hayfever. Why? Well, the pollen in local honey is not filtered out (unlike some bigger brands) and that helps your body get used to local pollen, meaning your hayfever isn't as bad when the pollen season hits! Does it work? Feedback says yes!

Local honey contains antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients.

Local honey is a natural antiseptic and natural antibiotic.

Local honey means more pollination; good for farmers and your gardens!

Local honey tastes amazing. Each hive forages on something different, meaning the honey never tastes exactly the same. No more uniform, bland, sugary 'honey'. Just little jars of delight.

Buying local honey helps support people like me to pay for the care of honey bees and covers (just) the time spent caring, inspecting and treating the bees to make sure they're happy.

Buying local honey means you support your local economy. In turn, we buy our food from the farm shop and our milk from the local dairy. Without you, we wouldn't be able to afford such lovely luxuries, so thank you for your purchase!!
